Mrs. Mahon and Ms. Thiessen have been working hard with the choirs from grades 2-6 to prepare for this weekend's performance with Juno award winning Norman Foote at The Surrey Arts Centre!  Everyone has learned a total of 16 songs!  WOW!

Watoto Children's Choir

The Watoto Children's Choir performed today and the entire elementary campus was invited!  We were blessed by their amazing singing and dancing.  It was AWESOME!

4V - Surrey Art Centre Field Trip

 

  4V will be visiting the Surrey Art Gallery on Wednesday, January 28 for a clay workshop.  We are in need of parents/guardians who are willing to drive us to and from school!  Our plan will be to meet in the classroom (room 104) at 12:35 pm for instructions and then leave for the art gallery at 12:40 pm.  Feel free to park in front of the school or in the bus loop if the upper parking lot is full.  (Note: It will be play time for grades 4-7 when we leave, and students will be running around outside.)
    If you are able to join us on our field trip, please email Miss V. or write a note in your child's planner letting her know how many students you can drive.  Thanks so much!

4S Last School Day in December (sorry it's so late)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It is our prayer that each of you have found rest in these past few weeks!  Christmas is often a busy time and many of us are probably craving some routine.  School starts tomorrow, which means that schedules need to be implemented once again!  We look forward to a fresh start to the 2015 year ahead.  See you tomorrow!
